I cut these out using my Xacto and some patterns from DH's cousin in Czech Republic. They came out really nice, although I'm not sure if I'm using the proper scherenschnitte technique. I think the artist is from Hlinsko or nearby.
I am so impressed! I've seen some examples done by Amy at "Angry Chicken." I thought it would be fun, but then I started to think it must be so difficult, and one wrong snip and it's gone.

Proper technique or not--they turned out lovely.
Hmm, this is interesting. I've read about this technique but never tried it myself. It's beautiful. Such fine detail too.
